Add it to Gmail

  1. 1Open Gmail in your browser and click the gear icon (top right), then See all settings.
  2. 2Stay on the General tab and scroll to the Signature section.
  3. 3Click Create new, name it (e.g. "Work"), and click into the editor box.
  4. 4Paste your copied signature with Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac). The formatting comes with it.
  5. 5Under Signature defaults, choose it for new emails and replies.
  6. 6Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.

Good to know: The Gmail mobile app only supports plain-text signatures — set your rich signature on desktop and it applies to mail sent from the web. Mobile-app mail uses the separate mobile signature.
